#2 Make it easy to read
Legibility is paramount. Make sure your colours work together in enough contrast to distinguish the vital information. Hold your card at arms lengh, Can you read it from there? Creative freedom is great, but make sure it’s not at the detriment of your ligibility. Nobody wants a puzzle where a business card should be.
#3 Know your audience
Asses the demographic your aiming for, consider their preferences and play to their interests. Don’t alienate your potential revenue streams with incomprehensible designs, you have to use the right bait for the right fish!
Make sure the design is eye catching. People are like magpies and will quite often keep shiny things! Things like Spot UV(which we’ve already done a blog on how great it is) can really set your card out from the rest. Don’t just think visual, think texture too! People love playing around with things that have interesting textures and edges so give them something to remember.
#5 Make it another peice of the whole, not a whole other peice!
